I prefer to install this recessed but can you tell me how this is installed recessed? Would I have to cut studs? Or is the u it partitioned to fit between studs? Thanks!

    Greeting,

    Below are instructions for installation of the medicine cabinet for the recess mount:

    Use a stud finder to locate stud in the desired mounting position. If mounting locations align with stud, use stud mounting. If there are no available studs, use anchors and screws for drywall mounting.

    Drill a 3/16 diameter hole at the mounting screw location. Place a Philips screwdriver in recess of the wall anchor and turn clockwise until the flange touches the wall. Fasten both sides of the cabinet box using 1-1/2 long screws and clear washers.Install the snap caps to cover the screw heads.

    I have to replace a 48" cabinet, this size is hard to find. I was contemplating 2x 24" Kholer this may be more economical
