Thank you, Judy. I'm beginning to be very fond of the purple roses. To me, Reine des Violettes blooms get prettier every year. I hope you'll be showing more blooms soon! Most of my established bushes are loaded with buds, with just a few opening up every day, but I'm sure that will change with warmer temperatures. I love it, but it drives me crazy too!

After just planting Firefighter (to go with Dolly Parton, Alec's Red, Erotica, and Velvet Fragrance), I thought I had enough reds. But seeing your Forgotten Dreams, I'm not so sure. Great color and form, Sara.

Also, is your Royal Amethyst really that blue? I really like that color but many I see online are much redder.

Thank you Al, Forgotten Dreams is more of a medium red than a deep red color, it is very dependable and has a great fragrance. The only place I've seen it available recently is Heirloom Roses.

The photo you see is exactly as Royal Amethyst rose looks. I love the color too! Wasn't sure this one was going to make it, so I got another one. I think I'm really going to like this rose a lot
