To be on safe side (and not to have to bring them back in on colder nights), it should be safe to keep them outdoors when nightime temps are staying around 50*F. If you have just a few plants, it should be easier to carry them indoors if unexpected cold.

edited to add: if cooler they should not get excessively wet - it takes longer for soil to dry up in colder weather.
