Those columns are 4x4 nominal cedar. I am constantly amazed at the response these columns get from folks on Houzz. Of course, most people just want to figure out how they were made so that they can make them on their own house.

This design concept is an example of thinking outside the box a bit, and imagining how simple "off the shelf" items can become something artistic and unexpected. I pride myself on that ability. Hope you like them.
