Window brand decision?

We are trying to decide between Pella vs Marvin vs Andersen 400 windows. We are replacing 30-40 energy inefficient double hung windows and 2 sliding door units.

Our contractor likes Pella, but is quality good?

What do you all recommend?

Are these all vinyl clad wood like the Andersen 400?

I'd choose Anderson or Marvin, then Pella.

These will all be aluminum clad--- Marvin/Ultimate, Anderson/ E Series, Pella/Architect or Pella ProLine. Thanks for your answer

8 years ago, we put in one Marvin window at the first phase of a remodel, then went with the Anderson Woodright windows for the rest to save some money. I wish we had done all Marvin. I'm not very happy with the Andersens.

Our Marvin is aluminum clad, but our Andersens are not. Maybe the aluminum ones have better weatherstripping btwn sashes, which is our main complaint. The Marvin is also easier to tilt in and remove the sashes if needed as well. ..
