Lovely room! I think a tall mirror would look lovely and reflect what's outside. I I can offer a little more advice, You might want to put once of those plaques where your wheel is above the tv. It looks to be a better size for that space.

The problem with the fireplace is it's totally dwarfed by the decor above. Actually, your whole room is kind of dwarfed by all the big stuff way up high. Let's bring it down to human level so it doesn't look like a place where be giants, eh?

The more advice the better. I think the space above the tv and also the space in the other side of tv needs works. I really want to get rid of the plaques completely. I'm thinking if getting a long wood storage chest to put under the wagon wheel and remove the peacock feathers and small chest. Because your have such tall ceilings and walls, think big. Don't add little things on those shelves up high. Remember you will be looking at it from a distance, so it will appear smaller than it is in hand. Put up one big thing above your tv, don't add other small things. Think BIG!

I wouldn't put anything in this room just to fill space. I normally don't use mirrors, but if you have a view out the window, you could do something round or a quatrefoil shape about this size. I'd pair it with something 1/3 as tall and something else 2/3 as tall as the mirror.

I'd keep only the large lantern and perhaps one photo on the table in the corner and hang a portrait-format piece of art behind.

I would leave the niche empty until I found the perfect piece. A good-sized Bwa mask would work for me, though that may not be your style. I actually tried one of your plaques in the niche, but it was huge and dark, so I went with the smaller, lighter round mask instead.
