I really like both of these species (canariensis and roebellini). Indoors, roebellini is vastly superior..., canariensis is dangerously sharp and too MASSIVE (also, many American homes are too hot for them over the Winter). The canariensis is ideal for an indoor/outdoor palm where they can get Winter protection if the winter is too cold for permanent planting outdoors. Canary is EASY from seed too.
