We have existing Oak cabinets and white laminate countertops. We love the oak cabinets but want to add new floors and stone countertops. We also have a large (4 x 5 ft) island. One option is wood floors to transition to new wood floors in open family room. My concern is what looks good with Med oak cabinets. One option is to go dark wood floors, light countertops but statement piece (dark) on island. Suggestions please!
