We are in the same boat...picked up grimsolv and veddinge drawer fronts. Love the grimsolv detail but scared of the off white. Currently have white counters with frosty carrina quartz counter and wanted to reproduce in new house...what counters go with off white? White counters makes the cabinets look dingy IMO

Thanks for commenting. We actually bought our grimslov cabinets 2 weeks ago and spent the last two weekends assembling, and are very happy with how they appear in natural light. I think Ikea's lighting really makes them look not their best. I'm so glad we went with Ikea doors, instead of paying extra $$ for custom shaker "true" white doors.

What did you use for the counter tops?

Would love to see pics! We just ordered the Grimslov and are now nervous about the shade! We are trying to decide on paint colors and counters now!

IKD, I noticed most of the examples you posted don't have very bright lighting. If we were to paint our walls off white, or have "warm lighting" LED's, would the Grimslov cabinets look very yellow?

Hi Elizabeth. Grimslov door are an off white and lighting can definitely affect the color of the door. Most of our clients do go for a cooler LED light which makes a big difference in how the off-white looks. Although we don't believe they will look very yellow we would recommend you not combining warn lights with this color door.

I have a large window above the sink (84”x32”) that will provide a lot of natural light. Will that make my cabinets look too yellow?

Hi Sherri. A good source of natural light will help you enhance the color of your cabinets, they are not as yellow-ish as you might think. Interior lighting will also affect the color of the door.

mine are next to a window and they dont have a yellow tint to them.

Here’s a picture of my soon to be window. I’m debating on either Grimslov or Axstad white door fronts. Advice is welcomed.

The window will be a good source of natural light, GRIMSLÖV fronts shouldn't look yellow-ish. AXSTAD fronts are matt white, GRIMSLÖV are off white - it's a matter of personal taste at the end and the rest of your kitchen elements (flooring, backsplash, accessories, etc.)

IKEA says the cabinet bases are white, but the Grimslov doors are off-white. Does this look odd together?

I'm thinking to get those as well and worry about the yellow lol...

I am following this thread because im either going to buy Ikea Axstad White Cabinets or Grimslov Off-White Cabinets. I like Ocean Foam, Organic White, Pebble, Symphony Gray or Piatra Dark Grey Ceasarstone Quartz countertops. I would love to see examples of these quartz countertops and cabinets.
