May, 2016 Quilting/Sewing Goals

It's May Day. I have a vague memory of a few of my elementary school mates and me going around a May Pole with ribbon. Is that even done anymore?

Last month was such a win for me that I'm scared to list anything more than a few things to do this month. So, here goes.

1. Finish Patch Pal puppy top 2. Put a backing on any quilt that's ready. 3. Finish sewing the blocks together on the current Novelty quilt.

Hi Sharon. Thanks for starting the post for May. I haven't been paying a big lot of attention lately but I know you post for each month.

This month I want to finish my quilt-as-you-go quilt.

Hope everyone has fun and reaches at least one of your May sewing goals.

Tough one!

We have a wedding out of town in the middle of the month. DDG#2. His quilt has been finished for a long time and has been sent off by courier so we don't have to carry it with us. And we will be away for a week.

Yesterday I hemmed three pairs of pants and there are a couple more to do. If I get those done, I will be glad.

I have two tops that need sandwiching, quilting etc. I hope to get that done as well.

I haven't sewed much lately and I am getting antsy to get back to the machine. We'll see how May turns out.

I absolutely have to make the stole for my friend! LOL After that I have a QOV that I've volunteered to assemble and quilt. I've received nearly all the pieces, so hopefully by the time the stole is done I can start on it.

I must, must, must finish a quilt for our friend/Cub Scout pack leader... The plan is to present it to her at the closing picnic on the 15th!!!! There is a plan, and some of the blocks are done, and the center compass is done, but we're waiting on one more fabric delivery. Then final assembly, and of course the quilting.... Plenty of time!! Right?!?

I have two I spy tops and a jelly roll top I need to quilt, a panel quilt that needs binding, and I need to get the Red Snappers put on the leaders.
