Which color fire glass should we use in our fireplace?

Hi, my husband and I can't agree...please help us decide! We have a fireplace in our summer (retirement) house. The color scheme is white walls, light travertine and oak floors, some grey in furniture, and teal/blue accents. The surround on the fireplace is travertine. Fixtures are chrome. So, i'm thinking clear or diamond, but my husband likes watery/tealish blue (to look like sea glass, I guess. See photos--looking for your vote! Thanks

Keep it simple and classic. In my professional opinion, I would use clear.

Yay, one vote for me! I read another post where a designer was recommending gold, to match the flame...now i'm thinking some gold mixed in with the clear might be nice, and the travertine has a hint of goldish tones in it...what do you think?

I go with hubby..don't know what the difference will be while fire is on but a little color when not on would be nice..especially since you have so many neutrals in your color scheme

I would also do the tiny wall spaces around the fireplace in a pale watery green....as an accent and a frame for the view of nature as well..kind of tie the inside with the outside

It's kind of hard to see in the photo, but we actually think it came out great, and we went with starfire reflective glass (clear/silver).
