Hello. I would like to install some Hunter Douglas honeycomb blinds in my house. We have a few big windows (100+ inches) with horizontal openings (rather than up down) that can get really windy when we open the windows on hot days. We would like to go with one big blind for these windows but are concerned that they will bang a lot on windy days with the windows open. We are considering top-down, bottom-up motorized blinds. My questions are 1) has anyone experienced banging and flapping in similar scenarios, 2) does the wind affect the structural integrity of the honeycombs (bend them out of shape and 3) at the end of the day, would you recommend the single blind or cut them, in our case, into three to allow the blind for the open window to lift completely while keeping the other two down for shade?
