My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I think I'm seeing lath, but not confident. Too, will you "demystify" (tell how it was assembled) the process used to achieve the look? I love it.

    We actually used reclaimed floor boards from the original home and reassembled them for the fireplace wall. We reused the original home's materials throughout the remodel, which was fun to work on.

    We are attempting the same in our 1946 bungalow at present. Have lots of lath and original flooring to work with. Goal is to repurpose as many elements as possible! I love the challenge and it has allowed us to invest in professional design and installation! So far, we have only purchased a new faucet (that looks retro) and new LVT flooring. This project turned out beautifully: I hope our results are on par!
