When I see hand mirrors I don't usually think men. My mind goes to ladies' vanity tops.

Just wondering if this type of thing fits into a man's bathroom.

It fits into my man's bathroom, because he wants it. Anyway, the metal lends the piece to a more masculine feel, IMO. I definitely don't see sweet and dainty here. ;-)

Then he should have it! Maybe call them shaving mirrors? :)

No, but I totally love that look. I spent a lot of time looking for old wooden handmirrors on line to to that in a PR. In the end I just have one handmirror that I hang on a loop, because a friend of mine had an old mirror with just the right aqua chippy paint for my PR.

My son has a ship port hole from Catchpole and Rye, but that's a bit overdone.

We actually saw something very similar, but done with vintage mirrors, at our doctor's office. The mirrors looked to be Bakelite or something along that line, and were very cool. They really did remind me of old shaving mirrors! I do like this metal piece though, because it does give the piece sort of an "edge."

How in the world did you do that, oly? I swear I've searched every possible avenue (well, apparently not)! Thank you so much! Love this, and the price is great!

I used hand mirror wall decor as the search wording and it was the first thing that came up! I think collage probably tripped you up.

Aha! Now that I use those search parameters, it does indeed come up (Wayfair also has it but it's more expensive). Just sent DH the link, and I'm hoping he'll say to go ahead and order it instead of waiting. We've not done much in his upstairs domain and I'm eager to add a bit of décor. He did buy a wall clock for his bathroom over the weekend (although it's not what I would've chosen, but I don't have to look at it day in and day out), so at least that's a start.
