Also here is the enterance im thinking about painting a dark rich brown black, it's also getting new lighting closet doors and floors

The wallpaper itself is more gray then brown, a gray taupe.

Is the wall taupe now? Sometimes pictures don't show the true color. Will you leave the wood floors? They have more yellow undertones, which would blend better with a taupe/brownish gray instead of a blue gray.

I was thinking the same. The color you chose looks fine. I think the orange-y tones of the floor and bannister are throwing it off. Those two colors clash, not the wallpaper and paint. Is all of the flooring (tile and wood) staying? Is it possible to paint the bannisters white or black (or re-stain in a darker wood tone)?

So far the tile will be changed to most likely a marble, floors and stairs refinished a few months later to a very dark shade hopefully. Would it be possible to make it look nicer with the hardwood i have currently? Would a dark taupe work? I really do not want a brown, I dont like it one bit.

Im also thinking of adding more moulding to create wainscoting like this
