Pasteurizing Olive Oil Infusions

Newbie to the forum; looking for advice.

I am currently growing hemp for CBD oil extraction using olive oil (basically a fresh herb oil infusion). Everything I'm hearing about storing plant material in olive oil is obviously bringing a concern of botulism. I figured pressuring canning it to 120C for a half hour should suffice to kill all the botulinum spores, but I have zero experience with this. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

I think it would be a do-at-your-own-risk process because as far as i can determine there are no tested instructions for doing it so the processing time required is a guess and would also vary according to jar size. The closest instructions I can think of would be doing tuna in oil and it requires 100 mins for pints or 1/2 pints only @ 11 lbs. adjusted for altitude.

You could always contact NCHFP directly either from their website or their Facebook page and ask them for advice.
