I think I'd trust them more than a mom & pop for this. They'll have better resources for alerts and are probably better at CYA. But the parasite a few months ago couldn't be washed off. I always hate to chance things for company. If you feel unsure, maybe find a different recipe.

No, very rural and the only nursery in the area doesn't carry plants like that. Not even in spring. The few friends who still garden don't grow cilantro either.

Dried is green, but that is about it. It does not taste the same.

Yes, me too, Sherry, but my parsley plants died several weeks ago. Sometimes happens and they're so slow to germinate and grow I didn't resow.

There is nothing wrong with Aldi's fresh Cilantro. It's the only place I buy it and looks a whole lot fresher than those little plastic containers with nearly nothing inside that are starting to turn brown.

Ask where it was grown. If United States, it should be fine. I buy from Publix and they mark their stuff with an origin label. I have not had any problems. I quit getting any produce from WM, because they do not and have no idea where it comes from.. I have not checked Krigers.

Maybe. But outbreaks of something keep occurring. Salmonella on jalapenos for one. And in eggs.
