We looked at a different Q quartz and decided against it because they wouldn't say where it comes from..their reply is that it comes from different countries...they come from China..I had to search online. I am not a fan of that, so we eliminate that option. One of the problems is that not all of their quartz uses Breton technology, so you don't really know what you are getting. Also, the condition in which those people work are not really decent..

Hi MS International, I believe that you are importing from everywhere, but when I buy something, I expect to know where that product comes from. I went to a local showroom that carries Q quartz and I asked where that was made..the reply was that this product comes from many countries...that, usually, for me means China. I don't doubt the warranty and I am guessing that the quality is the same for all your products. I just prefer to buy products of known origin.

I went to Tile Market of Delaware..I have no problem with the staff there,,they are very helpful. Their reply was similar to what others said they got when they called their local representatives. It would be helpful to have on the sticker the country of origin. I think that would eliminate any confusions

We have this countetop and not only has it chipped within the first month it is a different color thru the slab when it's cut so the seams will NEvER match. A HUGE waste of money...DONT DO IT

Yikes this is really scaring me! I was about to order Calico White or Concerto and now am going to hold up! MSI rep - can you please tell me where these two colors are made and if they are made using Breton technology! Need to know ASAP or I'll purchase something else. Thank you.

Where is MSI Calacatta Vicenza made? And does it use this technology?

Has anyone used Calacatta Vicenza? Any pics and reviews?

A question for MSI -- do you buy your quartz products or designs from other manufacturers? Silestone Pacific and Chantilly Taupe are identical along with (2) products from Vicostone and MSI products. Please tell me the actual source of the product and the country where it was manufactured. I am going to your Midwest center Saturday and Silestone on Monday to finalize.

going back to what Iroc said:

"We have this countetop and not only has it chipped within the first month it is a different color thru the slab when it's cut so the seams will NEvER match. A HUGE waste of money...DONT DO IT"

I have Babylon grey color Q as countertop. Someone dropped the sharp end of a knife onto it and created a very small chip maybe 1/16 of an inch. We found out the grey color is just on the surface - under it is white. Even though it is a small chip, it is very obvious against the dark grey top. Not sure if we can do anything ourselves.

MSI - any way you can assist with this? But I am still disappointed that the color is just a thin layer on top. Is like wood veneer.

Folks - a small piece of advice... if you are having issues with your top - no matter what vendor - contact them direct.... This forum isn't necessarily monitored 24/7... you should also reach out to your fabricator who can then contact the local rep...

Kind of late to the party but I had quartz installed from msi last week. Noticed a surface crack 2 days later. Contacted msi and they don’t want to honor the warranty at all and told me to contact my fabricator. He came out today and said 100% the crack was not there on the install date. It’s noticeable enough where it would be impossible to hide from us. Disappointed in msi customer service and I will continue to call until I get this repaired or hopefully, replaced

Mine cracked and they don't warranty against cracking. Can't get a Perla White replacement as it's stuck on a ship somewhere. Would never usr MSI.
