Wow, those are all huge Hoyas, nice haul. That fungii is gorge!

LOVE those plants!!! You're gonna love fungii and Red Buttons, which is my favorite out of all the pubicalyxes. I have merrilli as well. Love the leaves on that one. I'm also digging your plant stand :).

Thanks Brad! I got it at K-mart last summer for around $13.

I miss going to K-Mart with mum. We used to go school shopping there all the time when I was younger (there isn't one downtown). Haven't been to one in years. I always liked eating from their K Café :).

I was at Wal-Mart today and saw some nice house plants. No Hoyas, but I did see two Orchid Cacti/Epiphyllums (looked like Monstrose), and some small pots of Wandering Jews.

Monica, I used to have a Meyer Lemon Tree that I found at Wal-Mart of all places a few years ago. It was very thorny. Maybe it was a mislabeled Key Lime Tree? (They were selling those as well.) Needless to say, it didn't survive the winter indoors :/. The Calmondin looks great! Any blossoms on it? I bet they smell amazing.

Brad, I bet it was a key lime aka Mexican lime. They are very thorny. Over wintering citrus in cold climates are tough. Calomondin orange aren't very good for eating out of your hand but is great for cooking especially marmalade.. I read they are the hardiest in colder climates. The blossoms are gone already but I have dozens of baby oranges. I just love the smell of lemon and orange blossoms. Even rubbing the leaves give a wonderful fragrance.

I love Meyer lemons. They make delicious limoncello. I have some peels soaking in grain alcohol for several weeks waiting to be made into limoncello. Just in time for summer :-)

Monica, you should check out Sweet Olive/Osmanthus fragrans. I had one that I ordered and they have the best scented blooms of any plant I have ever encountered. It, sadly, didn't last long either.

I bet Meyer Lemons would make some great lemonade, too :).

Thanks. I think we have some type of osmanthus tree at the top of our driveway. I'll have to take a picture because I never knew what type it was until I looked up sweet olive.
