We are renovating and want to replace some old "clamshell" window trim throughout our main floor with something nicer. The tricky part is that our living room has a three-sided window bay that doesn't leave much room for trim. There's only 3" between the edge of the window and the front wall of the bay. Our builder suggested using a trim with 6" corner rosettes throughout the house and was going to chop the rosettes in the bay in half, which I think would look ridiculous. Are there options for window trim that would look good throughout the house, and could be scaled back for these two windows without being too noticeable? Thank you!
