Stress, sunscald, or early blight?

Started tomatoes a little too early this year. The plants have been growing nicely in a 7x15 ft hoop house. In all honesty, I didn't harden them off before bringing them out to the hoop house but I did bring them in on nights where the temps dipped below 40.

The Brandywine red (or random variety....not sure... It is a potato leaf variety from a burpee seed packet) have basically stopped growing At about 8" tall. Top growth is green, older leaves are a bit yellow with some people on the under sides of the leaves.

My real concern is that on ALL of the varieties I have started, there are lower leaves (not cotyledons) that are yellowing. Also there are leaves that are just plain dry...some whiteish, some dark brown tips.

Just looking for an opinion on whether it's just stress that will correct itself once they're in the ground, sun scalding, or possibly early blight.

It is not EB, rather nutrient insufficiency - nitrogen and phosphorus. What and how much have you fed them?

That plus water stress.

Need to go into larger pots or, if temps are okay, into the garden.

Haven't feed them much at all Dave...Diluted Fish emulsion with the watering maybe once every other week and tomato tone when they were transplanted into the cups about 4 weeks ago. They are in Pro Mix BX.

Now is there some reason the Brandywine PL plants are so much worse than the others? They have all had the same treatment and the other varieties look much healthier (with the exception of some if of the leaf browning depicted)

Temps are still a little scary to go in the garden at the moment, and will stay that way for at least a few more weeks while the soil warms up.

I am in NY, Hudson Valley region. I get this too! I wonder if it has anything to do with the peoples "under the stairs ", lol, or just too much water (water stress above)? I think I will leave them in the peapot and fill a tray with some loose, dry soil to place them in. That way, it will soak up any xtra water, yet shouldn't get too attached, fingers crossed, to the LOOSE SOIL. I guess it's a trial and error until something works! I'm also,gonna EVICT those PEOPLE, LOL!
