Identify Fragrant Flowering Tree

There's a tree in my backyard that's been here since we moved into this house. I have no idea what it is, but would love to know! It is currently (early May) blooming small, white, fragrant flowers that smell similar to honeysuckle. Here are some pictures. Thanks for any and all help!

Its Privet. Highly invasive. Birds spread the seeds everywhere in their poop. Some people (me included) are extremely allergic to the pollen.

It does smell good, but will spread without you even realizing. I have been fighting a losing battle against it.

Privet is a lovely demon. I've brought home pieces a couple of times thinking "how pretty" only to have my husband destroy it on sight with gusto.
