I sure hope so, I left all my tomatoes and pepper seedlings outside last night for the first time. It was supposed to be a low of 49 which I thought would be okay. I want to get at least the tomatoes into the ground next week, so I was hoping to get them used to outside conditions.

Can you leave them in the house for a day in warmer temperatures to see if they recover? And make sure they are not too wet or too dry. Maybe keep them out of strong light for a day? I don't know what else to suggest.

dcorbin, I would water with a weak solution of fish emulsion (1/2 tsp to a gallon of water). They should come back if wilt wasn't bad. It's the sun that is causing wilting not cold. I'm assuming you might have had them in filtered shade or shade but if it was windy, the wind could have dried them out. Good luck!
