The garage door and its frame should be painted a color that matches a tone in the brick (often the darkest tone is the best, but here perhaps one of the medium tones). In this way, the garage door is minimized and won't draw the eye from the front door--it's the front door that invites guests into the home. (Garage doors should not match the front door; and white garage doors are appropriate only when the house is white.)

Without actually seeing the gray of the house's siding in person (computer images are unreliable when it comes to color) to judge its undertone, it's a bit difficult to recommend a color for the front door. However, from the picture, I think a deep blue like Benjamin Moore's Newburyport Blue (HC-155) might work. In any case, don't choose a pastel, since gray "eats" pastels--choose a saturated color.

A medium gray that matches the med gray in your bricks. Your door can be almost anything but not pastels! It can be black or plum, or red or even yellow! But first tone down your garage then stand back holding paint chips in front of your door! Very pretty home!
