i think you are over worrying. as you say the rooms arent small. i dont see a problem with facing into a corner that is 'way over there'.

Looks like an optimum arrangement to me. Also there's very little chance the building would allow a change in the position of a wall that likely has other building services running through it. In rooms like these it's best to use furniture that has few corners so the space visually "flows".

So, you do like the idea of having a wall in the room to put your bed against? I've been thinking about your other bedroom. And if the current position of the bed really bothers you a lot, you could try to do a similar thing. You could perhaps consider removing the wardrobe and creating a walk in wardrobe to the right of the entrance of the bedroom.
