My experience with too much water is black leaf margins and black young leaves so I'm not sure its specific to being too wet. When was the last time you fertilized and had you seen this before or after?

This happened recently and it's been a month since i applied slow release fert.

Could there possibly be some burn from the fertilizer or too much salt? It seems counter intuitive considering you were saying things are really wet and therefore salts would have leached out.
