Rectangle pillows, they are more comfortable.

I voted square because that's what I mostly make since there is a much bigger variety of square pillow forms and not as much for rectangle!

I vote for square because they are more adaptable on a sofa. They look just as great tucked into the corner as they do front and center.

Both. Square for my head when resting; rectangle for my back while sitting.

The sofa set we have has regular, rectangular and cylindrical ones which are great as arm rests in the middle of long sofas.
