Hey guys! I recently bought a home in Hobe Sound FL and the house came with a mango tree. The tree is kind of abnormal looking as its tall with a small canopy that starts at around 10-12 feet. I was thinking of chopping the tree down since the neighbor said it never produced any mangos. But, the mango must of heard me saying it's going down and made some mangos this year hehehe. My question though is I'm not sure which type it is. Me and my father think it might be a mango from Cuba called manga blanca because of how the fruit is rounded. A mango fell out of the tree this morning so now I have a better look at it and maybe manga blanca?? Also should i prune and how, idont want to fight to pick a mango down. I know there are some mango experts out there! Help me out :)
