We are new homeowners and are trying to figure out what to do about our back house! Thankfully, the back house wasn't considered in the selling price because of all of the work. We are hoping to get it fixed up so when we sell the house, there will be profit made.

We own an old home (built in 1922) with a back house. The main house has been completely redone and is in good shape. However, the back house needs work. The concrete slab was poured without any metal to support it so not only are there cracks, but there is huge separation happening. A crack runs down the middle of the main room that is probably 3 inches wide. We would just fill the crack and cover the floor, but another issue is the asbestos tiling.

We aren't sure how to go about fixing this because the asbestos needs to be covered, but the slab is going to continue cracking. Is there a semi-easy and semi-cheap solution to this??
