Random secret space

I have no idea what to do with this space behind my closet. It's about 4 feet tall, 5 feet deep and 15 feet long. The only way in as of now is this cabinet door in the master closet. Since we're starting a renovation we plan to remove the existing closet and create built in drawers across the bottom of the existing space, but how do we get useable hanging space in this tiny room?

HI -- What is in the lower part ? And is it usable ?

It's a split-level house so the bottom part is the wall in the kitchen and a staircase to the family room (the house is built into a hill). So there's no way to expand downward.

It has recessed lighting and an acoustic ceiling. They just used it for storage, and they were the original owners of the house.
The only solutions I've thought of are a dry cleaners rack with a motor, or some kind of vertical slide out shelving for hanging clothing. Of course, then we would need panels to blend into the wall.. Other than that I'm completely stuck!
