is the majority of your yard mulched with an exterior margin of grass? Or is the margin soil? you can minimize the smallness of the rightside window with a good shrub choice. like the idea of horizontal fence.

One thing - depending on what the room with the horizontal window is, and what kind of outdoor connection you have out back .. you have a long front yard . .you could build some stucco over block sorts of courtyard walls low and create a privacy zone close to the house ..

you could even change the high narrow windows to French doors to the outside with a train rack pergola or a privacy pergola and do a taller hedge with a secret garden gate back towards the drive around a private area there . . with a bungalow, anytime you can expand a room to the outdoors it can make the house live bigger. If that is the kitchen, that isn't so great, but if it is the master bedroom or the living room, it could be worth it ..

If with this simple bungalow form, you can add window boxes on shelves, or board and batten shutters . if you do change the window, center it under the gable and consider a cottage form of window - a pair of larger single hungs mulled together with muntins on the top sash, for instance ..

Great ideas. So the room behind the small window is the master. The room is hard to fit our furniture in because each wall has something cut out- closet, door, window. We have our bed under the window now. I will post a picture later.

The landscaping is all rock. There is two colors that is why the edging looks different.
