Living Room Furniture Orientation

Hey! I've posted a few times on here and everyone's been super helpful so thanks! One final question before I put everything together - I'm curious about the orientation of furniture in my small living room.

Pictures:

Right now the internet and cable jack is along the wall between the stairs and the hallway. I don't have cable though so the wireless modem is the only thing sitting there. If I put the TV along that wall, I would not be able to fit a decent size sofa facing it in front of the window as there is no room for it and any end or accent tables. As far as I see it, there are a couple options.

1. Put TV against wall between stairs and hallway, loveseat facing it with other chairs or smaller furniture. (I guess I could put a sectional to make things easy but I'm just not a fan)

2. Put TV against wall between stairs and hallway, but with furniture placed perpendicular to the TV and facing the side walls (not a fan for watching TV but will make more pieces work)

3. Put TV against wall between stairs and window with full size sofa placed facing TV, pulled out from the wall so it's not blocking access from the door to the hallway.

4. Put TV against wall between door and hallway with full size sofa facing TV. Seems awkward since it would block direct access from the door to the rear part of the townhouse/kitchen. But would allow me to place sofa along the longer wall.

Any thoughts or preferences among these options? I've got a few sofa options in mind but right now it seems to be a tight fit if I were going to put it against the window wall so I wanted to see what options there could possibly be to make it work (or if people think I should just forgo it all together and go with a smaller loveseat and chairs).

Thanks!

Pierre
