Hello! I hope this finds you all well! I have my painters coming back tomorrow for some other trim work and I need opinions on whether to 1) paint the crown and wainscoting, leaving baseboard and doors & trim white 2) paint it all 3) leave it

My dilemma is that it just doesn't "feel" right to me..it's too "traditional" for me but I want to be "correct" in my distribution of paint. The color is BM Gentleman's Gray, originally I wanted Hague Blue F&B but went with this color due to opinions of my husband and brother! But I do like it! :)

The chairs are getting refinished and they will be darkened if I leave it, but considered lacquering them white if I darken the rest! I added a pick of the seat color and top of the table.

Also considered removing the plantation shutters if I use window treaments!
