The Victorian door with the oval inset does not suit the style of your house. I'd delete the shutters. The brown siding around the door to the right should be painted the same color as the house. Upgrade the landscaping. I'm not sure how you enter the front door since there is a steep grade from the driveway to the walkway. I think you'll get lots of ideas on this site. Good luck.

Door style & railing style wrong. Shutters, no. Steps to door...??? Power wash stone & driveway. Roof should be charcoal standing seam metal. Where does that door to right go??? Hi all...the right side of the house is a addition. They call it a Florida room.It does have some sort of stained wood.i guess they didn't want to spend the money or couldn't match the stone. There are steps in that brick wall. Doesn't have a lot of curb appeal but has potential and sits on 4 acres.

When time and budget permits, consider something like this for your front steps. A gradual slope.

Thanks for the ideas, here’s what we did on budget

The new roof looks great! The brick sparkles now that it is washed.

The secondary door should be painted the same color as the siding not red. When your budget allows replace the Victorian door. Remove the shutters. The windows are not right for them.

Think about planting blue rug juniper or some other ground hugging plant in the slope.

We had something similar and took it out. It was to hard to control the weeds. We have seeded and this year the grass is growing in. Thanks for your suggestions. I think our next move is to replace the railings and the four windows up front. The main windows were replace when we removed the front bay windows.
