Does this table stay locked in?

is the table moving back and forth when pulled out? can the same idea be used for the kitchen pull out table? what makes it locked in place after you pull it out? Thanks!

The 'table' is actually constructed just like a closed-top drawer, and the drawer glides keep the table in place when it's pulled out. it only pulls out about 21", so it could possibly be used in a kitchen as a table for 1! Hope this helps.
