Need help with bees in my AC unit on roof

How can i get rid of the bees and keep them from coming back without killing them? My husband passed away from a work related accident not long ago. Since then I have had to learn how to do my own home repairs etc. and I am in need of roof repairs around my AC unit, but I cant get near it for long because of the bees. Can anyone help with this problem? I'm not sure what kind of bees they are, but i can tell you that when we noticed the need of repairs on roof last year we also discovered many dead bees on my roof. I am convinced that the problem will continue with each new season until i can find a way to evict them without having to kill them. Any advice?

I think you need to identify your bees in order to know what to do about them. If they are honey bees, you can get a bee keeper to come and take them off your hands. If they are bumble bees, yellow jackets or other large colony-forming bees, you will probably need an exterminator. Or, maybe try a local university entomology department. We need to preserve as many pollinators as possible, these days. Good luck,

A picture would be great...since you have them again this year, most likely honey bees, ..if they're inside a wall it's no a easy task, the wall needs to be opened up and all comb, [all traces] NEEDS to get removed, descended and wall sealed.
