Will it crack if its the backsplash behind your cook top

As we told you in the previous message, mother of pearl tile is not suggested to use around the fireplace for a long period of time. Some customers used mother of pearl tile around the stoves, then, the tile became yellow and crack after under a high temperature for a long time.

However, mother of pearl tile can be used as kitchen back splash. See attached picture, it is one of our customers' gallery. Just for your reference.
