I would go with a shade much darker than the stone, for the siding. For a updated look. Like a charcoal dark gray then paint the siding & garage doors that color and paint out the window glass too. I have done that before and it works. Or replace the garage door. I would paint the trim on the doors & windows white. Remove all the shutters because they don't fit the windows. Let the stone be the accent on the home with the contrast of a rich gray against the stone it will update the entire house. I would paint the front door a Verdi Aqua green color. Or a accent color of your liking. Lemon yellow would be another thought. If you could add side lights on each side of the garage in something very over scale like 2 foot tall and add a new one on the porch too. I would try to start replacing some of the round globe like evergreens that look dated to more natural looks with more color than just green. Like barberry bushes. I would finish it off with a Black roof. I think you will find with the high contrast of the siding & stone your home will be very rich looking.

I like the shutters. I find dark on top of light bottoms kind of top heavy, and can't recommend them generally though I can see how the colors Kevin prescribes might work together.

You can't paint the house darker than the roof, or it really looks off. A darker roof will help update the house. It is the shutter color that is really dating your home. That is where I see that a deep gray would be terrific. Then I would do a glossy black front door and a mid-tone gray roof.

These stones have buff ivory, pinkish and bright gold tones. Ivory (like you have) or yellow golds are going to be the best body colors to work with the stone to give your home a unifed look. If we stick with the rule about carrying the base color up or going lighter, then doing a new pale tan / buff siding and garage / just one shade deeper than what you have now / is actually pretty good if you have to live with the color forever. Yellow golds could work but yellows are very hard to select well, and aren't really classic in this kind of setting. I'd look for an ecru buff (yellow undertone pale tan) for the garage door and siding - then test several next to the stone. If you start in the yellow end of tan, you may get closest. You are trying to match the tan stone that is the second lightest on the house. Otherwise, beige is going to be the best option.
