Some new blooms in my garden

I still have some roses just getting around to putting out there first blooms of the season--in some cases because they were only recently planted or transplanted, in other cases because they are just late-bloomers, I guess. : )

Enjoy.

Elle--I particularly like Elle in her pastel stage--with just a touch of yellow at the base--no apricot tones yet.

Here's the whole pastel Elle bush--well, most of it.

Berolina--a splash of sunshine in any garden.

Here's a lazy one, just getting around to opening: Double Delight!

Easter Basket--when she blooms in these subtle tones, she reminds me a lot of the coloring of a Peace rose (which I can't grow in my garden due to its BS problems). Easter Basket has few BS problems.

Red Intuition--not exactly thriving this year, but it sure put out one perfect striped bloom.

Love Song--one of my newest roses.

Sweet Diana--my dependable mini. I have 4 of them.

Gourmet Popcorn (mini), with yellow pansies at its feet.

All beautiful! I really like Elle and DD but that picture of Red Intuition is absolutely stunning - not only the rose but the contrast to the white (looks like some sort of Geranium) just takes my breath away!!!!!!

Sutehesh--yes, Red Intuition contrasts wonderfully with the white hardy garden geranium, but I'm finding it is indeed a florist's rose. Isn't doing that well in my garden and the unprotected elements, though the blooms are still lovely.

BethC--Elle is a good rose, but keep in mind that throughout most of the summer, it is an apricot-pink (with a touch of yellow at the base), and not this more pure pastel pink shown above.

I miss my Elle. I let it die and need to get another one. Love your stone path too. Your roses look beautiful!! Thanks for sharing, Judy

I got rid of my Elle - just wasn't doing anything. Yours is wonderful!!! That yellow and pink combo is breathtaking!

Love Song is so lovely.
