Kent Mango Plant dying or stressed

Hi,

attached pics are dying or distressed mango plant in Orlando, FL in summer 4th week May 2016. we have had good rain 3 days back and today the real-feel temperature is in 100's! The plant was looking good till afternoon around 1pm and when I came back home around 4pm - it looked like it was dying! what happen within 3 hrs? is it lack of water or aliens?!!! please help!!! It was bought from lowes about 10 months back and survived the winter and planted in ground 3 months back with miracle grow plant soil with cow manure. Added mango slow release fertilizer about a month back.

Any suggestions

will be a great help!

Hottest part of the day is 1-4PM.

Does it come back when you water and then wilt again the next day?

Are you still watering it regularly? Looks kinda dry.

Mulch will help keep moisture in the soil, keep it away from the trunk by at least 6" (some will say a foot or more)

Is it planted deeper than it was in the pot?

When planting, I am in the camp of "other than the plant, never add any thing back into the hole that didn't come out of it".

no it did not came back next day and has not changed anything. yes - watering regularly. it looks like its without water but it has plenty of water in ground - not too much - just right. it is planted at same height as pot with miracle grow planting soil mixed with native soil.

it could be plant shock? as roots could be out of planting soil to native soil? it was planed with native soil mix with miracle-grow planting soil about 3 months back..
