Deanna, I've had several over the years and lost them all after a year or so of growing. But you might try one if you don't have to pay too much, they are very pretty aglaonemas with a satiny finish on leaves. I don't know that they're tough, but I would definitely say on the picky side.

If you're looking for ags, I have a large collection of old and modern hybrids with a few species, one of which might be pictum bicolor. Let me know if you want my list. I grow aroids in general, especially philodendrons and ags. Always looking for trades, I have been known to send for postage to newbies developing collections.

Thank you so much! If you have trouble with them, I'm not even going to go there. I've never grown an aglaonema, so I know nothing about them. I saw a pictum tricolor for sale on ebay yesterday and my heart skipped a beat. :-)
