It looks like this is going to be a well used room and I would shy away from a light color (I have a cream couch and it's hard to keep). As well, I think you need something lower and sleeker than your examples in this modern space and also due to your windows. I think a low rust colored leather sectional would be great in this space. You may want to do a floor plan to ensure that a sectional is the best choice and when decorating, a slightly industrial décor would be so attractive and modern.

HI @ Maureen my walls is "park avenue" by Behr and we have placed all beige roman shades and Pirouette for our main livingroom round low windows and dinning area. Our dining table and kitchen cabinets are dark cherry wood.

I think then beige or dark grey may be good choices for your sectional, but perhaps look for something than feels less traditional/more uncommon than the styles you provided, for a more modern look and consider a chaise on one end, which is always nice to have. Get your couch and then think about how you want to add color with your rug and pillow choices. Almost any color would work; it's really dependent on your tastes.
