Help with Dwarf shrub choice

I'm looking to plant a few shrubs that will stay small aproximately 2 ft. Low maintenance, not much pruning. I guess you'd say border plants to my garden area, not a hedge but separated by some space. Evergreen. Dwarf boxwood and Soft Touch Holly has been suggested. I live a little North of Atlana zone 7. Can you tell me which would work best. Thanks

I know nothing about growing in your zone . . . but look into dwarf rhododendron, dwarf Daphne, both broadleafed evergreens.

You could ask on the conifer forum for suggestions.

Would you be willing to use evergreen perennials?

sun or shade? part-shade? drainage? evergreen? So you would be zone 7b? Also, do you want spreading? if so, how wide?

Yes zone 7b. Full sun. Evergreen. Not sure about drainage but seems ok. I have some holly's, hydrangea, knockouts, and a gardenia all doing well in that area where I want to put the shrubs as a boarder in front. Non spreading, want to keep as single compact plants as much as possible. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Consider smaller cultivars of Indian Hawthorn or maybe Dwarf yaupon holly. Perhaps Carissa holly.

I still don't understand the shape of shrub you are going for. You say 2 feet high, but not spreading. So how wide? Rounded shape? Cushion shape?
