Green, with natural, oil rubbed cherry and quilted maple. Earthy, warm, comforting, relaxed. Countertops are highly polished, moss colored solid concrete with crushed quartz added for a bit of twinkle! Backsplash and floor are porcelain tile. Friends and family all love to hang out here when they visit.

In the middle of a total remodel, will be white European high gloss cabinets, white quartz countertops with beach blue appliances, I am so over the stainless steel look.

My kitchen is sage green with corrugated metal accent walls. The cabinets will be replaced (hopefully in the fall) when my husband and son build my farmhouse style cabinets for me.

Just remodeled my kitchen. Left the cabinets alone, they are a medium walnut, but took the doors off the top cabinets. Green and white tile backsplash complements the Elfin Sage walls. Floor is natural Pine now but we will stain it fruitwood to match the rest of the house.

Reliable White cabinets, one wall is Sherwin Williams Contented, the other is SW Softer Tan. Just finishing the kitchen now.

Orange!!

My kitchen is a dusty, medium orange from Sherman Williams with a medium, warm grey trim. My cabinets are Shaker style in natural maple.

Our ktchen is a saturated orange yellow, like a summer sunset. Windows are north and east, and it is warm and cosy

The walls of my kitchen are in a color called starry starry night! Think midnight blue. Goes great with my white cabinets and countertops!

When I remodeled I got rid of the cream walls in the kitchen and opted for a dark, moss green with blond cupboards, tan tile, black granite, and red leather in the eat-in window nook. I find white rooms boring and it takes no design talent to fill a white room with stuff. I took my kitchen inspiration from the Mitchell house in Aspen, which I found on this site. My kitchen was mostly all white cabinets so I painted the wall space winter grey, a beautiful soft purple with grey undertones. It was complimentary to the silver pearl granite countertops and stone backsplash.

Orange! How else would I survive gray northern winters, but with plenty of warm and vibrant color

I couldn't decide between the two greens I liked for my kitchen Jalapeño Jelly & Herb Cornucopia, so I mixed them together and made a custom color I like to call Jalapeño Cornucopia. :D

Shermin Williams Color "Red Cent". It's almost exactly the color of clay (terra cotta) pots. The house came with painted white cabinets, white crown moulding, and white Corian countertops. It's an open concept and the only wall that isn't cabinets or appliances has three tall windows, so there isn't a lot of of paint. One picture is the day it was painted, the other is after my custom-built settee was delivered, and the curtains put up. I want to install granite, perhaps in a warm caramel. That 1990's fluorescent light fixture is going away this year!

Builder beige. I'm still debating on colors. I want to paint the cabinets gray. Then figure out a wall color. Any suggestions?

We had one large accent wall that was a dark/royal blue when we bought our house 12 years ago. We recently had tore out the old formica counters and had solid surface counters installed, and we needed to paint the walls where the old counters had been. So we ended up painting the kitchen and dining room a very pretty yellow. No more dark blue accent wall! It looks so bright and inviting now, I wish I had repainted the kitchen/dining room long ago haha.

We just renovated our kitchen. We went with white cupboards, black granite counters, hardwood floors and turquoise walls. Love, love, love it. It's so fresh and pretty - such a pleasure to work in it. I smile every time I look at it!

I wanted something to flow/co-ordinate w/ the Edgecomb Grey paint in the Family room which connects to the kitchen. I chose Ben Moore Hot Spring Stones--it is lovely, not a grey and not a beige. Goes perfectly w/ the existing granite counters!

It's nice to have a colorful kitchen however the one pictured looks super cluttered and the green walls are just one more piece of the clutter. Either do a nice bright wall color and go easy on the extras (single furniture pieces, wall art, hangings, plants, open shelving, etc.) or a more subtle wall color and showcase your accessories. Please not both its too distracting. Even kitchens deserve a little serenity.

My favorite way to add color in the kitchen is on the ceiling. I especially love taking it to another level by going with a high gloss finish as well - in a soft color like a pale sky blue, for example - Just gorgeous.

Our kitchen has two tone cabinets: black and natural bamboo. The counters are blue/green granite and the walls are pale blue. We used a modern/industrial theme.

Traditionally, I have created yellow kitchens - sometimes buttery, sometimes screaming yellow, once with yellow and red poppies wallpaper. Last time, first non-yellow, it was a sagy green to match a garage sale foot deep paper border of herbs. This time, the is a terra-cotta bucket of paint awaiting application. slightly dark north exposure in a climate of 8 months of winter, short , sunless days.

I love neutrals and organic colours of nature...so, my kitchen cabinets are an older lacquers white, can't afford to change them, so to give my kitchen a pop. I painted my walls a fudge brown!!! Outstanding contrast and looks great!!

The kitchen is always lacking wall space. The colour of your kitchen walls is not going to stay forever due to heavy usage, which mostly has to do with water. Chances are that your walls could grow mould or fade in colour. The colour is "Boudoir", which matches my "Tonkin" dishes by Royal Doulton. The living-dining room is the same colour. I had the apartment painted in hypo-allergenic paint before moving in, because the usual cheap paint used by landlords gives me migraines, even when it's years old. Also I hate beige.

I also have some Japanese dishes with "celadon" glaze (collected in thrift stores) that are a similar colour. I painted over the fake-woodgrain melamine cabinets in pure white and changed the gaudy brass pulls to simple nickel ones. Now, if only I could afford to replace the ugly fake-stone melamine countertop!

I voted black, because black is the dominant color. There's very little wall color because of the design. The kitchen and den are open to each other and the wall color is off white. Cabinets are honey-colored maple. However, the Volga Blue granite counters look black from a distance and black is dominant in the counters. Black appliances, black granite tile floor, charcoal colored tumbled slate backsplash. The previous owner built it and chose the finishes for the kitchen. she only lived here a year and a half before moving across the country. I needed move in ready, she needed to sell, the kitchen was done and this townhouse had the space I needed, so it was a go!

Orange. A lovely mottled finish orange that makes me smile every morning when I wander in bleary-eyed to make my coffee and delights me every day. The cabinets are cherry with glass doors, the appliances are stainless (not my first choice, but not something I can afford to change right now, and I don't mind them, either), granite counter in a dark tan/light brown, and beige tile floor. Oh, and the pantry door is stained a deep cranberry red. Yum. Trim is a soft white.

Best of all, this was all in place when we moved in. he previous owners had good taste... but we don't.so that sage green master bedroom is going to be painted purple as soon as we get a little more organized.

I like a combination of deep or colbalt blue and very deep purple, so awesome!!

Ok I forgot and wood, dark wood!!

I've always liked yellow kitchens, so mine is yellow. Very cute in this 1907 home. Cheery during our North Dakota winters and a happy color for summer.

Greige!

Our kitchen is a mix of Valspar Suede, a soft pale orange, but a lot of stacked stone, and cedar strips stained to match the golden oak cabinets. The counter is yellow, because I have macular degenreation, and I have issues with dark counters. A mirror reflects light from the picture window across in the dining area, which is a Sherwin Williams two application of swirled tannish pale orange. An electric fireplace there has the same stone colors as the kitchen.

Well I put blue but closer to deep bluey purple!
