I love your kitchen, my problem is budget - I know walnut is the most expensive one so we'll get some bids and see - my kitchen is 13.6x10

We were surprised - walnut wasn't the most expensive option. And custom was almost the exact same price as semi-custom from Lowe's or a kitchen design showroom. The cabinet shop sent someone out to get measurements and provided free drawings and free changes (which we had a lot of). They only took about 2 weeks to make the cabinets and deliver too, which was half the time of the semi-custom shops. We used them for the counters and they were cheaper than what we expected too. You never know!

The cabinets were about $11,000. The fridge is flanked on both sides by full height cabinets will pull out shelves, and we took pretty much all of the upgrades (dovetails, softclose, etc). The counters were slab, and totaled around $3k. It pays to know what you want and shop around. I used the Ikea kitchen planner to lay everything out, and we designed it all ourselves, so we could shop each element. We found the sink/faucet online for $500 - a third of plumbing showrooms.I don't remember the size of the kitchen, but it's not huge - the whole house was only 1000 sq ft. One cool feature - the windows extend to the counter, eliminating a backsplash and creating kind of a cool effect. The counter is cut into the window wells.

If I can get that price I would be very happy :) I looked for that quartz but couldn't find a Samsung name. Is it really white or has some grey color in it? Thank you!

We found that most tile/kitchen showrooms carried it, although when I do an internet search it doesn't really come up. Not sure why.

The tile was a splurge - it's like $30/sf. But we didn't need a whole lot, and our contractor had actually budgeted for it so we went for it.
