Hi All - okay, so I recently decided to buy a whole lot of seeds
online because I realised I loved flowers and I would like to start
growing them as a hobby. I didn't have a specific plan in mind just
"That's a pretty flower, I'll take it."

This means I ended up with Bat Plant seeds without knowing that it is
quite a difficult plant to germinate from seed. After receiving them I
did some research and realised how difficult they are to germinate -
need ideal warm conditions and all that and I started to freak out.
Haha, okay, point is, I eventually got all the conditions correct (I
potted in Canadian peat moss kept moist with warm to slightly hot water
and then covered in a plastic baggie to keep humidity high.)

I am growing them (all my new seeds incl. bat plant) indoors under a
fluorescent light in like a mini nursery I have created in my room -
average room temp about 23deg - 28deg Celsius at any given time of day, I
keep the heater on the room because it's getting cold here now eek.

The problem is my new kitten tried to play with the damn plastic
baggie around the bat plant and knocked it over. I almost cried because I
had just gotten conditions right to wait for the long germination
period -

Where I need help: the plastic baggie captured all the soil and I
repotted it BUT I have no idea of the depth of the seeds - what if
they're too deep now?

Would you suggest I abandon the bat plant in favour of another seed I
could grow in its pot instead or should I wait the rest of germination
period and see if anything happens? I only planted five seeds :'(
