Have any of your used these for a backsplash? If so, how on earth did your ever get the right color of tiles? I ordered 3x12 tile samples and loved them. Then decided to order 4x12's. They arrived yesterday (yes, on Memorial Day!) and I hate them - very gray and I wanted white marble with gray very subtly running through.

I called the place (Carreratile.com) this afternoon and they said that all that is coming in right now is on the gray side - I just have to call and see what they have. Geeze, I'd like to actually get this kitchen finished before I leave for nearly 5 weeks on vacation and that's not looking possible if I go with the Carrera tiles.

I didn't want to keep my bone crackle glaze but I could and just also do the backsplash under the cabinets (it was wallpapered previously). Or I could order new crackle glaze subway in white, but that seems like a waste of money.

Why oh why are backsplashes such a problem! Cabinets are installed a week from today - Yah!
