If you like it, you could expose it, and just hang pictures and place furniture as though it were otherwise a normal wall. Depends on the context and what would have been put on the wall otherwise.

Drywall and paint is the cheapest cover-up. Then you can put whatever you want there. You know, your 45's, 33's, 8-tracks--your whole collection.
