Do you have any pictures of floor colors?

This is what they sent me. Also wondering if anyone has experience water based vs oil based:)

I use special walnut when I want a medium brown with no red/orange/yellow tones. It looks great with any style or colors.

Used Provincial on old pine floors; really beautiful! Still love after 15 years. One thing to remember; the darker the floor, the more dust shows. You really have to love your Swiffer!;)

I suggest you narrow your choice from the various selection recommendations via a suitable JANKA wood hardness score consideration for the amount and type of traffic expected to receive in the area in question. Once this is done further sifting of choice can be done in matching the average humidity readings for a year in which ever city you live in to the hardwood flooring manufacturers company rating of the woods' need to match as closely as possible. Both of the aforementioned items will insure durability and minimize wood shrinkage and buckling. With this consideration handled, I recommend a wood that might give you several colors or tones to blend with the balance of your decore with like that of a natural Malaysian Walnut can with its various tones of black, brown, and white.

I like the special walnut too. It seems like that color is deep and not overly dark.

I don't think the lighter colors will necessarily make the room larger looking. It is a medium and has a richness. With the furniture colors you have chosen it should look very nice.
What color is the trim in the home?

It's definitely more medium and will not darken the rooms. It grounds them but does not show the dirt as much as the Jacobean and Ebony stains.
