I've been looking for the perfect curtain rods for the Windows in my living room and my eat in kitchen (the ones shown in the picture). I finally found some that I love (also pictured) that come in a .75 diameter and a 1.25" diameter.

The width of the living room windows is about 135" so I definitely want to go with the 1.25". But the width of the kitchen window is 75". Would the 1.25" be too bulky for that window? Or if I did use the .75" would it look funny that they weren't the same? This is such a small thing, but I just don't know!

Also, how high above my windows should I hang the rods?
